Texas again

Hi, all. I'm back from my weekend trip as of yesterday. It was GREAT!

I will write up posts about it. Really. Soon. At the moment I'm trying to prep the kids for this morning's scheduled speech therapy, and heck, my suitcase is still in the foyer.

Summary is I had a really fun weekend with great people. And now I'm home with great people, who were very glad to see me home. My, I live a fantastic life!

It feels a bit odd to be home and quietly recovering *today* from a big fun party weekend - seems as if my calendar has slipped a day, I shouldn't be doing that until tomorrow. ;-P

Although I *did* get to shout "throw me somethin' Mister!" over the weekend, and I have the beads to prove it.

Happy Mardi Gras

It has felt very odd today to be recuperating and resting after a fun party weekend - it feels like I have my calendar off by a day.

Nonetheless, it has been a fine Mardi Gras evening. The decadent pancakes and bacon meal (yes, most people are used to sausage) we had last Sunday, actually, when we had people over for the housefilk. But tonight we had pizza and chocolate chip cookies. Aaaahhh. Lovely.

I still intend to post about my weekend, really soon now, once I'm caught up on sleep. Which I'm not yet. Right now, I think we'll just wait for the next Girl Genius comic to load, and then go to bed.
