Sleep deprivation, it's a way of life!

I have really been pushing myself on sleep deprivation the last few days. It was worth it, I spent the time doing things very important to me, that I needed. And my moods are much improved. I have been joking that I'm training up for ApolloCon, where I hope to filk all night.

Nonetheless, it has caught up to me. Three nights of shaving sleep, one night really much. And getting up this morning to get to church and get Maggie to Sunday school - there hasn't been any the last two weeks, and she's really missed it.

Now I'm home and very bleary. My darling [livejournal.com profile] selenite is making brunch for us, Maggie's missed that too and has been asking and asking for his pancakes. After I eat, I have plans to go upstairs and fall flat on the bed and try to nap. I usually don't like to do that, because after a nap I never seem to get properly awake again, but I think today I have to. I hope I can.

post-nap

I have napped. I think that was helpful.

I am now having the post-nap need to get my brain together stage. Not much else to do here on the computer, what do I do now. Karl's being all industrious in the kitchen, it's just lovely to see. Marvelous man, he fed me such a nice brunch earlier.

I saw this today:

[livejournal.com profile] ursulav is usually funny. This one could certainly explain part of that movie Madagascar that was shown to us last Wednesday.

Cowgirl Maggie

Here's a pair of pictures from the housefilk at the Tyras' last weekend. [livejournal.com profile] selenite thinks I should post both. Pics are courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] tmc4242
