You could also buy and listen to recordings of Victor Borge.
I'm not kidding -- he was Danish by birth, American by choice, and Jewish by background,
and
he performed classical music (now banned in Iran).
He was also, IMAO, one of the greatest comedians of the past century known to me, which ought to count for something in and of itself.
