Crumpet gauge swatch 2, cont.
I finally decided to frog out about a third to a half of the swatch - since I'm giving up on row gauge, and I want to save yarn - put a few rows of ribbing at the top to stop roll, and bound off the swatch. It's in the washing machine with some towels now.
I don't like washing the swatch, I feel nervous about using up the yarn, but I'm doing it. And hopefully if I need it I can unpick the end and then frog it out, Russian-join it in, and use it if I need to.
