Halloween pictures

Yes, I'm a bit behind, it's been a busy weekend with Karl's folks here.

EDIT: By the way, I reprised a costume from a couple years back for when I was sitting and handing out candy. White chemise, red skirt, blue fabric shawl tucked around me and into the skirt with a red-white-and-blue ribbon cockade pinned to it, hair tucked into a white mob cap with a red-white-and-blue ribbon cockade sewn to it, stockings and clogs. And my knitting in my hands. Bonus points to anyone who can identify the character!

He's Impossibly Cute!
ext_3450: readhead in a tophat. She looks vaguely like I might, were I young and pretty. (Default)

I don't remember the character name, but I betcha you were Wossname from Les Miserables, knitting stockings.

Someone already said the correct name and book, so I won't chime in.

I think I might have gone for extra points for verisimilitude with random spatters of fake blood. One year my son wanted to be a gruesome doctor-- so it was scrubs and splatter.

I don't think that's your style though!

Were you occasionally cackling "Guillotine, guillotine!" as you knit?
