Gnome race
For other WoW addicts or those amused by them - a WoW Insider report on a fun activity I took part in.
Here's the video they posted. Yes, I'm in there. Yes, a huge mass of level 1 gnomes in their undies, racing from the steps of Ironforge to the Dark Portal.
Bizarrely enough, I actually spotted myself a few times. Early on the steps, on the left, there's a flash of a demon skin buff going up - I think that's me. And running through Ironforge, you can see me - female gnome with a tall purple hairdo - bonk into the side of a staircase, because it was so confusing I couldn't see where my character was going, and that delayed me. Enough that I missed the first tram - I'm in that mass of people standing on the tram platform waiting for the next tram to come by.
I didn't make it to the end - died in the Blasted Lands, and once you died, you were out. But I rezzed and ran on to the end just for the fun of it. I had a great time.
