Oh, the irony

celticdragonflyThe knitalong group is now setting up to do 6 pairs of socks over the next 12 months. Irony of ironies - it turns out the pattern they'll be using next will be the adult adapted version of the Cloverleaf Rib Sock - yes, the pattern I'm working on Right Now for Maggie's rainbow socks! They also want people to do a child's version in worsted weight for CIC, if they have time before the next adult sock knitalong starts. Which, ironically, I'd been thinking of doing as my next child sock. (I like to alternate child and adult socks when possible, it feels so nice to get a child's sock done so fast.) Heh.
Of course, I'll then have to RE-adapt their version of the sock to fit an adult large, not a woman's medium. If I intend it for me, anyway. Such is life.
