the sharingest little girl
Aug. 25th, 2004 07:16 amLast night we had cookies, and we'd left two on a plate on the computer desk. This morning, when we brought Maggie into the living room, she spotted them. "Cookie? Cookie?" Okay, she's seen 'em, let her have them. So we told her yes. She went over to the plate and picked on up. "Cookie!" she said gleefully. Then she picked up the second one, looked at me, and held it out. "Cookie for Mama?" What a sweetie. I took it and thanked her. She said something that sounded remarkably like "I give cookie to Mama". Then started eating. "Yum!" she says.

I just got another spontaneous "thanks!" though, at lunch when I gave her the second helping she asked for.
