From several friends, and sure, why not, an excuse to play some music.

1. Open up the music player on your computer (if you have one -- the music player, I mean. Clearly you have a computer, because otherwise you couldn't read this).

2. Set it to play your entire music collection.

3. Hit the "shuffle" command.

4. Tell us the title of the next ten songs that show up (with their musicians), no matter how embarrassing. That's right, no skipping that Carpenters tune that will totally destroy your hip credibility. It's time for total musical honesty.

1. Kaniad ystafell - William Taylor Two Worlds of the Welsh Harp
2. Opening Theme - The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension
3. Mr. Mom - Lonestar Let's Be Us Again
4. Fiddler On The Roof - Tradition
5. Straighten Up and Fly Right - Nat King Cole
6. Simon Says - Trout Fishing In America
7. Elvis Presley - Are you lonesome tonight
8. Sweet Southern Comfort - Buddy Jewell
9. Sheep May Safely Graze - The Canadian Brass
10. Gun Chrodh Gun Aighean - Smithfield Fair Highland Call

Hm, I could do a lot worse as a snapshot.

Gee, how can I get copies of the Welsh harp album and Highland Call album?

Smithfield Fair is MARVELOUS. My mom gave me 3 of their albums, all autographed, and I play them LOTS.

I have Scattered Seeds of Scotland, Highland Call, and Cairdeas. GREAT stuff.

I think the Welsh harp album is out of print. Nope, I googled and found it a couple places, like here:

It's excellent. Unusual - especially the first half. IIRC he's working from two different manuscripts, one of which is very early and unusual.

1: Elvis Costello - Living in Paradise
2: Misfits - 20 eyes
3: Ted Nugent - Stranglehold
4: Tool - Undertow
5: Foreigner - Cold as Ice
6: The Cure - Pictures of You
7: Type O Negative - Who Will Save The Sane?
8: Morcheeba - Part of the Process
9: Rush - Red Barchetta
10: Stevie Ray Vaughn - Little Wing

Can you say "eclectic?"

*I skipped non-music items like audiobook chapters and spoken-word, like Jello Biafra and George Carlin, and an episode of The Shadow, from Old Time Radio.
