Geography games

celticdragonflySo I've been studying my geography this last couple of days, thanks to the online quizzes at http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/web_games_menu.htm . Good resources for homeschooling, those will be.

17catherines was complaining a bit of some of the oddities of the US states and their shapes, Maryland was mentioned in particular.
Then today, whenkd5mdk was still here, he found the European ones. I have been working with them this afternoon to refine and update my knowledge of European geography. selenite just got home, and I was telling him, wow, 17catherines thought Maryland was weird, she should look at Croatia! What were they smoking?
selenite replied, "gunpowder". Heh. I am amused.
