I finally gave in and went out and got the Chicago soundtrack. Wanted it for years. Worked on a production of it with my mom back when I was in high school.
I've been wanting to see the movie - wanted to see it with my mom when I was back home in December, but we found out the December release was only in a few cities. Bother. So I haven't seen the new version yet - in Baton Rouge I had people to watch Maggie...
So I went to the store and DITHERED over buying the old version I know so well or the new version. I finally got the old version. I suspect tomorrow I may go buy the new one!
Playing my favorite songs from it now. I've always wanted to sing Matron Mama Morton someday.
Karl and I are indulging ourselves in the amusement of casting ourselves and our close friends in it.... HEH. I don't know if others would be amused or pissed...
