Aw, crap. Maggie's learned to spell.
I was discussing with
selenite how I've been working with Maggie on the "I want X" sentences, for speech therapy. Which was today, and it went well, and Kathy is very impressed. I've been working hard with her on that since last week. If she wants pretzels, I won't give them to her until she says "I want chips!" (she can't say pretzels - chips is acceptable), and we're doing it without verbal prompts, just with some sign prompts. And I only give her a small handful, so she has to ask again sooner. And I was telling
selenite that when I have my breakfast pizza, normally that's MINE, she can't have any, no way. Except if she says "I want pizza".
Now, I told him "my breakfast P-I-Z-Z-A". And I said "I want __" and just mouthed "pizza" at him while turned away from her. But Maggie looked over and started right in with "more pizza? more pizza!?"
