So I saw a link about an article on Serenity in the new Wired magazine.
selenite had the magazine, got it out, and we opened to page 56 for the Serenity article.
It was interesting, sure, but what got my attention was the full page Dodge ad on page 57.
In the background, a red Dodge convertible. In the foreground, a bride and groom. She's tall, slim, tanned, blonde, wearing a low-cut strapless sheath and a diamond necklace, perfect white smile, carrying white roses. He's short, elderly, white haired with glasses, and next to the wedding ring he's wearing a large gold ring with a $.
The text at the top says "Grab life by the horns" next to the ram logo.
This just leaves me BOGGLED. The best explanation I can think of is that the ad writers are NOT familiar with the historical allusions to wearing horns as a symbol for cuckoldry and adultery!
