Kitchener frustrated

Somewhere in the walls of this house, there lives a Gremliny-beast of some sort.

I have no idea what it looks like.

But I know it eats tapestry needles.

[bangs head] want to finish off these socks, I do, I do!

Finished Object Dance, pt 1

Sent off a belated birthday present today - and she saw it and got some tryons for length over the weekend, so I figured I can post the picture.

Lace socks from A Garden of Lace. Carefully machine washable.

I wish I had sock blockers - this pattern looks way better ON a foot or a sock blocker than it does lying there.

Jayne hats! FinishedObjectDance pt. 2

So I've been working on Jayne hats [1]. I agreed to do one for Ryan, another member of the Dallas Browncoats, and then agreed to do one for Ed Dravecky, our crew captain. Both guys have good sized heads - several inches bigger than typical hat patterns. I thought Ryan's was big until I got the measurements for Ed's. I finished Ed's at ConDFW and as he was sitting next to me at the art auction, I plopped it on his head. Ryan came and picked his up tonight, paid me for the yarn and as agreed, paid my labor fees in Good Chocolate. Ahhhhh....
