TSK:B spotting in Fort Worth

So fordprfct and I went to the Barnes and Noble today, to look for his copy of The Sharing Knife:Beguilement. I went along because hey, bookstore, and in frustrated easement of waiting for my own copy to eventually come from Dreamhaven Books post-signing.

I expressed mock surprise that it was not up on the front New Fiction display, and we went back to the Science Fiction ghetto. (Hey, it's a much bigger, nicer ghetto than it used to be!) There was the shelf of New Exciting Hardbacks! No TSK. Grr. I was about to go have a Talk with their ordering people, when we saw two copies of it down with the Bujold paperbacks. fordprfct took one. I took the other one... and put it up at eye level in place of a less worthy book on the New Exciting
Hardbacks! shelf. And I turned the paperbacks of Hallowed Hunt out. Thus initiating another friend into Guerrilla Bujold Marketing. I also recommended the book to the sales clerk up front, told her how good the ARC had been.

The most energy I've had for days...especially since he was driving. All gone now...
