Panopticon
Feb. 9th, 2007 07:49 amI found a new knitting blogger. Well, new to me, he's clearly been at this a long time.
This actually came up yesterday, when I wanted to once again find the cafe press store with the shirts that say "I have two needles. You have two eyes. Don't mess with a Man/Woman who knits". (One version of the shirt for each)
Turns out he has a blog. And cartoons, too.

I spent a bunch of last night knitting on the Love and Kisses project, reading through his archives, and giggling. I'm back to last May.
Current quote I like:
Some of the cartoons that amuse me:

and from the Dulaan knit-in, this picture

with the caption "Buddha in the Attitude of Contemplating which Cast On to Use"
Also I have found out that the King Charles Brocade isn't called that because he liked it or in his honor, but because it was the pattern of his undershirt when they lopped off his head, and it's preserved with blood and all. The gory part of me delights in this. The blogger is using that pattern for his Regicide scarf. I am highly amused.
Off to read more.

One of my favorite things about the whole knitting/spinning game is that you can be simultaneously productive and peaceful.Yep, I like that.
