In the interests of making Cleaning For The Inlaws easier, I went ahead and gave Maggie her birthday present from Mama and Daddy early today. We got her a soft-sided toybox. (Softsided so she can't bonk herself on it, and so that she can't use it to climb over the corral.) I think it will work. It also makes it easier to pick up her toys for the frequent vacuuming of the living room. (There's a baby girl eating crackers and such in here, after all)

And in true baby fashion, she's going for the cliche. We gave her what is basically a box - but as with all babies, she's more interested in the box it came in.

here's what it looks like. And no, you can't buy one new anymore - you never can, if it's a really good baby product they always discontinue it. I got this one by ebay from Canada.

FWIW, I see something very much like this at Walmart from time to time, if anyone wanted to find one.
