Hey, kd5mdk? You have hooked me on Flying Fish Sailors, you know.

I seriously have to learn the "Ode to the Lima Bean" song and sing it at housefilks.

I'd like to filk the tune for something else, too, as the idea occurs to me, it's just too fun not to.

#2 Son started eating lima beans after being exposed to that song. He'd always hated them before.

For a while, they were his favorite veggie.

He's mellowed out on the topic by now, but he still likes them. And still tends to sing the song whenever a lima bean hits his dinner plate.

Shudder. Lima beans are evil with nasty squishy texture. I figure the best thing about being an adult is that I never have to eat another one.
