It's ok to function day 2 at the same level you functioned on day 1 - but with less pain/difficulty. In fact, it's a good idea. Even day 3 - reinforce the idea that you could do the same with even less pain/difficulty. THEN move on to just a SMIDGE more - not a whole bunch.
