The phrases "Amateur Rocket Scientist" and "My other vehicle is in orbit" conjure images of a Suburban with a cluster of obscenely large high power model rocket engines sticking out the back doors drifting majestically along in LEO...
Kind of an "Oops" or "Holy Crap !! It Worked !!!" :-)
Of course selenite, being a real live Rocket Scientist, would probably have done the math and not been surprised...
