leave my throat alone

Either my allergies are hideously acting up after this weather front with lots of wind, or I'm coming down with a cold.

Either one SUCKS. I have a housefilk Saturday! I wanna sing! The immune system is put on NOTICE about this, darn it.

Do you have Throat Coat tea? It's from Traditional Medicinals, and is available at most "natural foods" stores, and also at GNC stores.

Also, I've found that the Yogi Tea "Echinacea Immune Support" tea, brewed and ingested when I first feel the onset of symptoms, tends to stave them off or reduce them. That too should be available at "natural foods" stores, or possibly in the "natural foods" section of whatever local markets are in your area.

A third possibility is zinc lozenges, which are usually available in the vitamin section.

Good luck and hope you feel better soon!

I've had a couple of mugs of echinacea tea, and occasional zinc/C/echinacea cough drops.

Gah, this all sucks.

Well if you were back here in LA ... you'd be just as bad or worse. The Santa Anas are bringing all of their allergens to screw with everyone's heads. But good luck with convincing your immune system to behave.
