knitting frustration
Why oh why do I never have the brains to write down things like what needle size I used on a project, when I'm always going off and changing things anyway? It isn't anything like the yarn that the pattern calls for, so I can't even judge by what size needle the pattern had.
Bother. I thought this was going to be a one-off, I guess.

now, if you've sent or given the [foo] to someone else, that's much tougher. but if there's a suggested total pattern measurement (e.g. circumference, for a sweater)... gauge math could still provide an answer to the question.
I agree though that having more complete project notes would be helpful. and i too am terriblly lax about writing them down... if i forget what's in my head, it can be really tough to regroup.
good luck!

So since the yarn is a different weight and type than the pattern, I can't use that. I'm guessing what I may have used before. If I get this sorted out, I will write it IN the book on the page with the pattern, I swear it.
