Eeek. Concrete blocks are very heavy, and our bedroom is 2nd floor. I'm already stressed about the house shifting and concerned about foundation problems.
The storage thing is of more interest. I'd like a kingsize captain's bed like that. Think I'd have to have it custom made. Expensive.
