Name issued settled, as above. Neonatologist checking out all the bad things that could happen, like soft bones from Coumadin, etc. Still showing arrhythmias, O2 sat dropping below 90 now and then. Cardiac echo showed 2 small ventricular septal defects, and a (so far) patent foramen ovale. Echo tape and EKG shipped across town to pediatric cardiologist, so he could "interpret the entrails".

At our request, Neonatologist wrote order for baby to be brought to phoenixsinger on his way to the NICU -- she hadn't gotten to hold him yet. He was able to spend about 8 minutes with her before his O2 fell enough that they wanted to get him on over to the unit.

Make that curly strawberry blonde hair. Kid cleans up cute!
