Car!
We have replaced
selenite's old car, the effectively dead Dodge Shadow. Yay.
We've bought a 2005 Ford Taurus, bronze/tan, slightly under 17K miles. Power lotsa stuff, CD. Technically can seat 6, and has 3 carseat anchors in back, that's nice. Cruise control. Lots of pockets. I am pleased, and I think she likes me. (And people can quibble about me anthropomorphizing. Whatever. They can relate to inanimate objects their way, I in mine.) I drove her home.
I have named her Dwynwyn. (A Welsh saint, and a very pretty name that sadly
selenite won't let me use for future kids anyway)

Nah. I just tend to talk to things occasionally, name things of significance, imbue them with a bit of personality. Sorta the Rihannsu view of Objects in the universe, if you've read Diane Duane's Star Trek books.
