Crumpet gauge swatch 1
I estimated I'd need to go up one needle size as usual.
20 stitches = 3.25 inches.
It was supposed to equal 4 inches. Bother. So clearly size 6 won't do it. Sigh. I was afraid of that, the fabric looked too tight. So I'm getting slightly over 6 spi, where I should be getting 5.
Darn it, I don't think I *have* a pair of metal circs in size 7. I think I just have DPNs and a couple bamboo circs.
bkseiver, weren't you advising me to avoid bamboo for this yarn?
Screw it, I'm grabbing yarn and needles for another dishcloth and I'll go sit outside with the kids. Back to this later today.

And then put it aside, because my shoulders hurt and I feel down.
