How in blazes do you keep glasses on a child under 6 anyway?
I guess this just goes under "another burden of parenthood" and I cope and keep trying.
In chatting with bkseiver, she has been reminiscing about my sister phoenixsinger's amazing one-hand grab-and-throw, that used to toss the glasses off her face, out of the playpen, and onto the fireplace hearth. Robyn's glasses were scratched up a LOT.
The doctor and optician kept talking about how for some kids, once they get the glasses on enough to figure out that hey, the prescription really HELPS, then they stop fighting it and then you can hardly get the glasses away from them.
Somehow, I really really doubt my kids will fall into this group. But here's hoping.
