I used to not like Mexican food. Then I spent a semester in Wales eating British cafeteria food and started craving it. I don't like spicy-hot things - I can only tolerate a little bit - but nachos and tacos and carne guisada and various other non-chilli-laden things are good.
I discovered after living in Denver that I liked Tex-Mex (norteños) better than New Mexico Mexican or coastal Mexican styles.
