[livejournal.com profile] autographedcat sent me music! Jim Croce stuff - some that I'd heard but only had on some tape buried somewhere, some I hadn't heard. Yay.

Clearly we are moving towards the whole me-as-Queen-of-the-Universe thing. Nice men sending me music. Can beautiful scrunchies falling out of the air be far behind?

Although at the moment I have been sidetracked from scrunchies by a site that has LOVELY scarves and snoods. Also beautiful skirts, long flowy ones of the type that I love and have a hard time finding. These don't come in my size. Sigh. When I'm Queen, they will. So clearly not there yet.

Dunno what site you're talking about, but as I recall Deva Lifewear has several of their styles in sizes at least up to 2x. Their circle skirt is one of my all-time favorites, and it comes in three lengths as well as different widths.

As for scrunchies - knitted? Crocheted? Batik fabric? One of the nifty things about living on the left coast is the ready availability of such choices...

I shall go poke around Deva's site. I've gotten their catalog in the past - IIRC most of their stuff went almost large enough. I have a pair of their pants that I rarely wear because it doesn't fit quite right - waist is okay but thighs are too snug. And I have a long vest of theirs that I love.

Yep. All the skirts I like go to 2X. I'd need 3X. Which their size charts have, but it seems almost none of their stuff is available in.

I am completely amused at the scarf-tying instructions. Basically, they're telling you how to do with your scarf the same things you'd do w/ your hair if you were allowed to show it (assuming you're shopping here so you can be all rabbinically tzinias). So...cover your hair to be modest, but then tie your scarf fancily to show off?
