Lightswitches and hairdos

Today we got the little lightswitch extender doohickeys, so Maggie doesn't have to yell for us to come turn the bathroom light on for her. I installed one in the downstairs bathroom, one in the upstairs hall bathroom, and one in Maggie's room. She's very excited.

Here's Maggie ready to head out shortly for Kids' Club over at church. We're trying out a new hairstyle. She seems to be enjoying it. We'll see how long it stays up.

No, I did not get the tails even. I think I need a class in Remedial Hairstyling for Mothers of Little Girls.

Actually, assymetrical hairstyles are very stylish right now.

It's hard to believe that's the little bundle I held in my arms four years ago.

Well, the PART is straight...
That's hard to do with a squiggly kid.

That's MY niece! :) Isn't she adorable? I think she looks rather like her aunt at that age, who used to wear pigtails. (I believe we called them "puppy dog ears," but that's what we meant.) She IS growing fast.

I adore having Paul, but I wish he didn't make it so much harder to travel...
