I have a horrific headache from hell, and am not much of a conversationalist just now, so I will attempt to distract myself by playing the meme
ciorstan posted.
Step 1: Put your media player on random
Step 2: Post the first line(s) of the first 25 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.
Step 3: Post and let everyone guess what song and artist the lines come from.
1.Two horses' trails within the grass, a gypsy man and his bonnie wee lass
2. Sand sifting down through a sieve in the morning light, gets in my eyes,
3. She's one of a kind, sometimes hard to find, like a rainbow
4. There's atmosphere and topsoil here, water's all too rare
First #5 was totally instrumental, so had to be left out
5.The fox ran out on a chilly night, he prayed for the moon to give him light
6.Her eyes, they shone like the diamonds, you'd think she was queen of the land
7.So goodbye Murshee Durkin, I'm sick and tired of working
8. It was the Duke of Clarence, as well his coachman knew,
9.An elven maid there was of old, a shining star by day
10. I've got your picture, you gave to me, and it's signed with love, just like it used to be
11.And I would do anything for love, I'd run right into hell and back
Next song skipped due to being totally instrumental. Although if I tell my friends it was bagpipe music, can you guess which artist for extra bonus points?
12. You and I were lovers all along, we had a good thing going strong and never doubted.
13.Blessed be the English, and all their ways and works
14. Brothers Wilber and Orville Wright built wings out of wood and steel
15.A lusty young smith at his vice stood a-filing
16.You can sing it to the river, when you've drunk it down too low
17. I had big plans for our future, said I'd give you the whole world somehow
18. Hairstyles and attitudes, are they connected?
19.Way down upon the Swanee River (Okay, seriously, try for the original title. And I'm more expecting people to know the composer than the particular performer)
20.Orbiting Jupiter, with telescopic eyes
21. Sittin on the front porch, in the warm summer sun,
22. Silent sea, tell this to me, where are the children that we used to be?
23.Almost heaven, West Virginia, Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River
24.Make of our hands one hand, make of our hearts one heart,
25.The dinosaur came and he ate Barbie, she was delicious
Guess away. This got interestingly eclectic.
