Baby smiles

She smiled back at me!

I was talking to her and smiling at her and she smiled back. Aw, she did it again a couple of times.

I am in LOOOOVE.

I am also rather engorged. Oh ow. Just a temporary supply and demand problem, we'll work it out.

She has such a cute round little face, and her whole face lights up with the smile.

Ha! Silly Mommy Person. Don't you know that babies can't smile? It's only gas! Just ask THEM -- they'll tell you. *giggle*

IMO, they have *way* too much alphabet soup and not enough time with Real Babies!

There was a study done once. Babies were born and whisked away while mom kept quiet. Baby was brought back into the room where mom, dad, grandparents and other random folks are talking. Dad starts talking. *zoom* Baby tracks dad and won't take his eyes off papa -- until mom opens her mouth. :-)

Ha. They just spend *way* too much time with their alphabet soup! Those are the most precious smiles on the planet!

Ah, the Infamous They. I shan't bother asking THEM. THEY are probably used to babies who've been drugged and traumatized anyway, not happy calm babies like my sweetie.
