Movie survey
Aug. 20th, 2007 01:28 amOkay, soI took the survey, it was pretty easy, although one question left me wondering WHAT he meant by it. Other than that it went smoothly and fairly quickly, though.laforgery1, a buddy of mine, is going back to school. Ths particular semester, he's taking Business Statistical modeling, which is probably about as interesting as you would imagine, but the short form of the story is that he needs survey respondents to give him data to work with.
He's asking about summer blockbusters, why we go to movies, or more importantly, why we don't go to movies. He asked me to spread the word, to get more respondents and probably a wider spread of demographic responding.
I warned him that if half the folk on my flist answered his survey, and half of them linked and got a 50% response rate from there, we'd skew the heck out of his raw data, as we are educated, media-savvy, able to download, unimpressed by moronic scripts, and passionate about our fandoms. He said bring it on.
Well, no he didn't, he said he would welcome a flood of interest and response.
Let's see if we can't give him that, okay? Please take his survey and feel free to link to widen responses. I'd love to startle his prof with our sheer numbers.
And I'm all for the idea of swamping him with results and skewing his data, bwahahaha. So let's help mess with it.
