What a weekend that was

I had an absolutely freaking fantastic weekend. Lots of fun time, but I also got a lot DONE - housework and such, and shopping to make our places better, and even some knitting. I have a finished object, but I haven't been able to find what I need to take a good picture of it yet.

Also, have figured out that Rock Band is a helluva lot of fun, as long as I'm sensible and don't try taking the drums spot. fordprfct is the drummer, and that's all there is to it.

I'm still terribly behind on email, haven't caught up since the trip to Illinois. I keep wanting to write up long detailed posts about the trip to Illinois. I want to write up long detailed posts journaling my life and how it's going and my thoughts and impressions on various important things, and all that. But darn it, there just isn't time - I'm too busy living it to journal it!

Have you tried Dragon Naturally Speaking? rolanni has been trying it.

No, I haven't really thought about it. I guess I'd figure that requires a quiet background. And although there's plenty of time I'm at the computer without both hands free, it isn't quiet all that often.

Also, I am pretty used to doing my composing via my fingers on a keyboard - I don't know what it would be like doing it verbally.

Is it expensive?
