If the hat doesn't fit the kid in question, ask if the local hospital would like to have any baby-hats in stock? I know the level 3 nursery had some for the minx (who was 2 pounds 15 ounces at birth), that were donated by folks. They're very useful, to keep the head warm so the baby can use all the energy for growth and not expend too much heating the body. Which you probably know but I'm tired and pedantic at the moment. *sigh*

(Seven pounds is not teeny! O:>)
