These are the song titles, not the albums, right?

I can offer you more songs by the Mamas and the Papas ("Dream a Little Dream of Me", "Go Where You Wanna Go"), Harry Belafonte ("Day-O", "Mary's Boy Child", "Angelina"), Paul Simon (you name it), Mary Chapin Carpenter ("I Am a Town", "Almost Home", "Down at the Twist and Shout"), Roger Miller ("Dang Me", "Chug-a-lug", "Guv'mint"), or the Beatles. [The named songs are representative, not exhaustive.] Of singers not on your list, hmm... Kenny Rogers, Blood Sweat and Tears, Dusty Springfield, Suzy Bogguss, and Mary Hopkin might appeal to you; I can make specific recommendations if you like. I mentioned Spanky and Our Gang's cover of "Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?" a while back; that's another possibility.

Um. Looking back at your previous post ("bounce and bop")... Not everything I named fits that bill, but it's still good stuff.

I think I'm good for Echo's Children and some others.

Would you be interested in different artists of some of those? "Rhino on the Bayou" album has Hey Pocky A-Way by The Meters. It's still pretty peppy!

Ooooh. The Meters ROCK. I know I used to have more of their stuff. I think that may have been on the album I lost. I should get They All Asked For You, that's a good oen.

Many of these I have the albums - I do have the other Mamas and Papas songs, fr'instance - but not all.

Specific bouncy songs is what I'm looking for.

Although "Brother, Can You Spare A Dime" catches my attention. I was mentioning that song to [livejournal.com profile] fordprfct just Sunday evening, as King of the Road popped up on Turloch - I love that song mostly because Dad would sing it, and he liked "Brother, Can You Spare A Dime", too - I associate those two songs with him a lot.

Kenny Rogers, "It's a Beautiful Life"
Aretha Franklin, "Freeway of Love"
Johnny Cash, "Jackson"
Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off"
Blood, Sweat and Tears, "And When I Die" (don't be put off by the title, if you don't know the song)
Creedence Clearwater Revival, "Down on the Corner", "Lookin' Out My Back Door", "Proud Mary"
Mary Chapin Carpenter, "Passionate Kisses", "Down at the Twist and Shout"
Shania Twain, "Rock This Country"
Linda Ronstadt, "So Right, So Wrong", "Trouble Again"
Donovan, "Wear Your Love Like Heaven"
Petula Clark, "Downtown", "I Know a Place"
The Moody Blues, "Nice to Be Here"

Mary Hopkin, "Knock Knock Who's There", "Temma Harbour"
Harry Belafonte, "Day-O", "Angelina"

Take your pick. (Be mindful, though, that I'm on dialup, so e-mailing MP3's is a slowish process.)

You forgot some of the Heather Alexander & Uffington Horse stuff.

Let me know anything you're supposed to send. If I've got it, I can upload it to one of the sites a bit faster, since we've got DSL.
