knit dress

celticdragonflyMaggie wore the dress I knit for her today!
I think it came out pretty well, if I do say so myself as shouldn't.
I knit it to fit her next winter, so it's a little bit large now, but not impossibly so. It had been languishing in the project bag since I took it off the needles, waiting for me to finish the hemming and weave in all the ends. Then this weekend the weather went cold again, so I pulled it back out. I got most of it done last night, finished the last bit this morning, and pressed the hem to keep it from curling up. I like it.
