celticdragonflyI've been saying for ages that I should get a headset for the cordless phone, given that I end up with the phone tucked up under my ear on my shoulder while carrying babies around and changing diapers and such. Last night when Karl was going out on an errand I asked him to finally get me one. Yay. It's here, it's plugged in, just haven't gotten a chance to use it yet.
I tried it on this morning and told him wow, this takes me back. I used to work phone tech support, so it's a very familiar feeling. (Although there I got them to specially get me one with TWO earspeakers, as I have a hard time clearly hearing speech with a lot of background noise, and I'd started out in the acoustically worst cubicle) He asked if he should call me up and ask me about a PowerPoint problem. I said "Yes, do - because then I can say 'hey, f*&k you!' "
