I'm attempting to use the washing machine to felt my first sample felted knitting piece.
Note to self: when the directions say "Fill your washer to its lowest level with hot water and a small amount of dish washing detergent." - they mean a smaller amount of dish washing detergent than I think they mean.
If anybody is visualizing a scene from a sitcom, no, not that bad. But it is going to take several cycles to rinse all that out.
Just as well, apparently it's going to take several cycles to make this darned thing felt properly, even with the boiling water and the ice water.
