Did you guess the Gulf of Mexico, turning back into a Tropical Storm and heading towards Texas?

No, of course you didn't. Because that would Just. Be. Wrong.

We won't even talk about Jeanne, the storm that is apparently the hurricane world's version of Dori from Finding Nemo, or Karl, the storm that is a little confused about what constitutes tropical. (Hint: it's NOT Ireland.)

I'm highly amused. I went and looked at the maps. Yep, Karl's on his way to Ireland. Of course he is. Honey, you promised you'd take me with you the next time you got to go to Ireland!

Not much, I don't think. I suppose we might get some rain, but the projected maps for Ivan don't look like even the possible track goes as far north as here. Houston's going to get wet.
