Well, that's better
Oct. 20th, 2004 07:33 pmI'm feeling much more cheerful tonight that I was earlier in the day. I got some mail! Real actual mail for me! Bounce bounce bounce! That makes me feel very good.
Then I was going off to the knitting Meetup. It was actually close by and
selenite was willing to come home early enough that I could go. Yay. Got changed, headed out, got there a few minutes early, even. To the coffeehouse.
The coffeehouse with the sign saying "Open Soon Under New Management". The coffeehouse which was clearly NOT Open Now under Any Management. Bother. I stood around for a while, holding my bag from the local yarn store with "www.knittingfever.com" emblazoned across it, in case anybody else showed up and said "well, let's just move it over to that restaurant over there." Nope. Did not have paper and tape to leave a sign suggesting it myself. And I was getting hungry. So oh well, maybe next month. I came home, and dinner is cooking.
Oh, and Someone gave me a Mission. Clearly the original plan has become difficult, but nevertheless I definitely intend to fulfill the spirit of the mission, if not the exact letter. And a Mission Report will eventually follow.
