A whack in the cause of righteousness

I'm mostly too sick to keep up on things online today - I have had a turn for the worse. But I did want to share an amusing story from the other day.

Maggie had requested Harry Potter, so we were letting the kids watch the first video. selenite and I were on the couch, and the kids were mostly curling up with us on it. It got towards the end of the video, where Harry has gotten through the challenges and is confronting Quirrell, who has declared no, HE was trying to kill Harry in the Quidditch game, and just generally being The Evil Bad Guy Revealed At Last.

Jamie, with a determined look on his face, got down off the couch, walked up to the tv, and WHACKED the image of Quirrell. Then he came back and climbed back up on the couch, looking satisfied with himself, as we laughed.

(Hm, I must get a more recent Jamie icon up. When I'm healthier.)

The Doctor

So thanks to Gerry, we've been sloooowly getting to see the current Dr. Who stuff, now and then, in the evenings after the little ones have gone to bed. We're not done with the season yet, but getting close. ( some thoughts at random )
