Kid pics and Finished Object Dance

Here's Maggie showing off the sweater I just finished for her. ( click for the FOD picture )Someday, somewhere, I will follow a pattern as written.
But clearly not anytime soon.
This was written to be knitted in four flat pieces and seamed together. I knitted the body in the round on 2 circs, split into knitting flat on a circ each from the base of the armhole up to the sweater, did partial three-needle bindoffs (hey, found out you CAN do a 3-needle bindoff in ribbing!) on either side and then bound off the rest of the middles separately, then picked up stitches from the sides and knit the sleeves down in the round. Other minor mods here and there, and I made it longer for a growing girl.
The cherries were supposed to be cross-stitched in, but that was looking terrible, so I used duplicate stitch instead.
