I'm not dead yet

I had a bit of a scare last night. Karl came home from work, and as usual had checked the mail on the way in. He was carrying a package for me. A soft, squishy, yarn-feeling package.

Oh noooo! Was it my Death socks from Sock Wars? Would I have to send on the socks I'm currently working on?

No. It was some lovely Trekking sock yarn that ciorstan sent me. Thank you!!!

EDIT: By the way, I reprised a costume from a couple years back for when I was sitting and handing out candy. White chemise, red skirt, blue fabric shawl tucked around me and into the skirt with a red-white-and-blue ribbon cockade pinned to it, hair tucked into a white mob cap with a red-white-and-blue ribbon cockade sewn to it, stockings and clogs. And my knitting in my hands. Bonus points to anyone who can identify the character!
