Jamie is in the kitchen, waving a bamboo skewer, shouting what I think is supposed to be "Expecto Patronum!"

He's talking much better in general. Earlier he knocked the remote off my desk with his elbow and looked up and said "I dropped it."

Must get back to lots of housework now.

Movies! I saw movies!

Hey, y'all. I've been awfully busy lately, often the type of busy that takes me away from the computer - and when I'm here, I'm often nursing and have at most one free hand.

But I did want to say that I've gotten to see MOVIES!

Remember on the 19th, fordprfct and I took all 3 kids to Ratatouille? That went so well that there's been more. Not with all 3 kids, just Alanna.

Friday night I got to see PotC3 with Alanna. A three hour movie with a baby in my arms. She nursed through some of it, slept on my chest through more of it, and was so quiet we doubted anyone knew she was there.

Sunday early afternoon I got to see HP: Order of the Phoenix with Alanna. Again, she nursed through some of it, slept through some of it. She did get wet and start to get a little fussy, just starting to make some quiet sounds (very quiet, the teen behind us had been louder), so selenite took her out to change her and brought her back in, since he'd seen the movie already.

I got to see THREE movies!

Best Baby Evar. Absolutely.
