Sleeping baby

Alanna was asleep upstairs, with Karina curled up next to her right shoulder, in watchful Guard Cat pose. Which lasted until I got the camera into the room and turned it on, then she got up and came over to beg for attention.

Darn. It was *cute*.

It's cool having a nativity set the kids can play with

Oookay. Jamie is turning the green rock thing from the nativity set upside down, and it's hollow, and he's putting the sheep and the camel and the donkey in it with one of the people, and playing boat. Possibly he's reenacting Noah's ark.

Ah, except apparently Noah's Ark crashes into something at high speed. Repeatedly.

Why I need AI in home

Me: oh hell yes. I need an AI that can hear everything, can remember stuff and just tells ME when I ask, and knows where I put EVERYTHING. I'd just get in the habit of talking out loud of what everything is and where I put it all.

I want something like the AIs in Spider Robinson's 3rd Stardance book. Although I never have been able to come up with what I'd name mine.
