A few of their favorite things

I'm showing the babies The Sound of Music this evening, they haven't seen it since at least early Dec, maybe November. Jamie has been trying to dance to many of the songs. Maggie saw the first scene and said "where's captain?" which was nice to show she actually remembered a bit from when we'd last seen it. Jamie was trying to sing along with Edelweiss. Maggie was, too, and hers actually had some words.

Then it got to the ball scene. Maggie asked me to dance. We got to dance for a bit, but Jamie cut in. (Really, he did. I was impressed.) I tried to set Jamie up to dance with Maggie - that would have been a nice photo op - he doesn't want to, apparently only I will do.

I think I need to get a new Jamie-and-Maggie icon sometime soon. I shall have to look for a good photo op.
