Knitting progress, with pictures

bkseiver gave me the yarn for this sweater. It's meant for both Maggie and Jamie, they can share it, since they're the same size on top.
I'm pleased by it, because I had been complaining that it's hard to find nice primary colors for kids these days, especially for boys. Then Mom gave me her leftover yarn from making HER Crayola sweater. So now the kids have their own Crayola sweater. I wonder if there's enough leftover to make a little hat to go with it. Maggie *LOVES* hats.

And here I am Saturday evening, working on the second of the beaded socks for the SixSoxKnitalong. I'm eager to get these DONE, and not have to fool with them anymore. I'm not happy with the Wildfoote yarn, so I just want to get it over with so I can move on to something else.
