Yet more outings, efficiently
Mar. 11th, 2005 11:17 pmSo after my last post I talked
selenite into the Lowes run we'd been discussing, on the grounds if he wanted to get the planned storage shed up tomorrow morning, we'd better buy it tonight. We were tight on time before they closed, but we managed to efficiently get the 10x8 aluminum storage shed (not as durable as the nice wooden ones, but affordable), the flooring kit for it, lightbulbs, cat odor remover spray, picture frame brackets, brackets to mount a cupboard on the wall, and a jigsaw
selenite wanted. Whew. Maggie was given a balloon, she loves that. They even helped us load the car. Hopefully tomorrow morning
selenite can get that storage shed up, and then we can start clearing room in the garage.
I wanted to pick up a CD, I heard a song on the radio that I'd been wanting to play for
selenite, and I have another friend who REALLY needs to hear it (hi,
patgund), and it wouldn't hurt for others in his life to hear it, but the Walmart didn't have it. We stopped at the grocery store and got a short list of stuff including the diapers.
There's a local strip mall that has a sign up saying it has a sewing store - I'd been wondering about that, and pulled in to look, but couldn't find it. That gave
selenite a chance to grab a sub for dinner, though. I would like to find a sewing store that gave classes. There was a place that gave quilting lessons in Redondo Beach, that'd be interesting. That place mostly was geared towards trendy cute quilted wallhangings, but I suspect in Texas I'd have better odds of finding a class that could work towards a blanket quilt.
Correction: Karl tells me it's a STEEL storage shed.
