Just another ordinary day here.

The kids played outside some this morning. I am bugging selenite to get some more of the yard cleanup stuff done to make this easier. Maggie drew on the fences in chalk some. So I did the alphabet and the numbers on the fence to amuse her.

I want to get them some sort of playhouse/slide/climbing thing. Maybe we do that for her birthday.

Refilled the bird feeder and hung it back up. Spilling seed all over the place, but then that's why I fill it outside, not inside. Saw a redwinged blackbird earlier, and then a redheaded finch. I expect the doves will rediscover us fairly soon. Thanks to selenite for getting it taken apart, cleaned out, put back together.

I'm working away on the knit lace throw. Sigh, I'm getting a bit tired of it. I need to work on the new lace sock design, too, but I need time to work on that when I'm not getting distracted, and that's pretty hard to come by. I want to finish something so I can go swatch for the next Secret Project. Or pretty soon I'll give in and do that anyway. Except the directions are WEIRD.

Yesterday I ran errands, 5 stops with both kids. Maggie was in panties, not pullups, we stopped at bathrooms twice, successes, she stayed dry, yay.

I have determined I can't get a pretty vinyl tablecloth locally. Just can't do it. I don't know why so many of these have to be so UUUGLY. I'm going to see this daily, it must look okay. Thinking of getting two, since once we get the old plain coffeetable out of the garage it's going up in my study. I'm going to just order online. My folks are trying to find a new vinyl tablecloth for their dining room table, but apparently no one's making oval tablecloths that size anymore :-/.

Joann fabrics or other fabric stores have flannel backed vinyl tablecloth material on big (60 inch wide)rolls. Usually near the clear heavy rolls of plastic like some people use for furniture covers. Does that help?
